Grammar help, pls!!

Hi!

I have some promlems help me please

how do we say the following?

we should not let the untreated sewage to our waters, or
we should not pump the untreated sewage into our waters or any better solution?

and is it correct grammatically to say that 'I collect the waste selectively.'
