Grammar help please?

Hi,

Could you please confirm if these sentences are grammatically correct to you?


1) A [ and / with ] B confused me. (Both words are correct and common)

2) I confuse about A and B. (Active, less use)

3) I am confused about A and B. (Active, more common)

4) I am confused by A and B. (Passive, more common)


No 2, 3 , 4 are the same meaning.

"A with B confused me" is not a very usual thing to say. The use of "with" may be understood to emphasise that the two things occurred together, but some people may consider the sentence not natural.
