Grammar help please?

Hi,

Could you please explain to me why?..


Your [ breath / breathing ] smelt good. (Both are nouns, but only "breath" is correct?)

I am short of breath / breathing ] after running. (Both are nouns)

It is worth of $100. (Value)

There is [ worth / worthy ] to visit. (Both are adjectives)

I am happy to [ cooperate / collaborate ] with you. (Both are verbs, therefore both are correct?)
