Grammar help please?

Hi,

Would you please check for me if I have made any grammar mistakes in the following sentences?


A concerned father calling me yesterday. (I heard some one say that, it was incorrect)

A concerned father was calling me yesterday. (Correct version)

A concerned father called me yesterday. (Correct version)

"Customers" usually refer to these people in the shops or stores.

"Clients" generally refer to people from firms or companies.
