Hi,

Do you think I can express this word "compare" in these ways?

Compared to your grammar knowledges, I am far off. (From the past to present)

Comparing to this car with that car, you might find that... (A presenting conversation)

If you compared these two cars, you might find that...(A presenting conversation, an imagine clause)


The word "obscure" has two meanings, which one is more common in the daily conversation to you?
