Grammar help please?

Hi,

Could you please check for me, if I have used these words and sentences correctly?


This word is regarded / considered correct. (Both words are correct and common?)

You are regarded / considered as the best teacher. (Same above)

The car won't start. Well I think, it is a battery's fault. (Fault sounds like a problem or defect to you here?)

It malfunctioned again, I guess it is generator's fault. (Fault sounds like a problem or defect to you here?)


Do you actually use this word "yield" in your conversation?

It yields some unexpected result. (Produce)

It yields a good crop this season. (Produce)

I was forced to yield my land to the occupying force. (Give up or surrender)

I will not yield to the enemy. (Give up or surrender)
