Hi,Could you please check for me if I understand these words and usages correctly?The differences between these verbs are...I acknowledged making a mistake. (Willingly)The government acknowledge the problem. (Willingly)Please acknowledge once you have received my email. (Confirm)I  acknowledged that I have just received your email now.I admitted making a mistake. (Unwillingly)The government admit the problem. (Unwillingly)I have an impulse to do it. (Sudden strong wish)I have an urge to do it. (Strong wish)This new policy is good for an economic impulse.Cheers

I acknowledged making a mistake. (Willingly) OK.
The government acknowledges the problem. (Willingly) As shown.
Please acknowledge once you have received my email. (Confirm)
Better: Please acknowledge the receipt of my email.
I acknowledged that I have just received your email now.
When you acknowledge doing something, you just say that you have done it. You don't use the word "acknowledge".
We just say or write: I have received your email.
That is "acknowledging" that you received it.
I admitted making a mistake. (Unwillingly) OK.
The government admits the problem. (Unwillingly) OK.
I have an impulse to do it. (Sudden strong wish) OK. More likely 'had'. We don't usually recognize having an impulse at the very same time that we feel it.
I have an urge to do it. (Strong wish) OK.
This new policy is good for an economic impulse. ???
Better: This new policy may provide an impulse for economic growth.
