Grammar help please?

Hi there,

Could you please check for me if I have used these words correctly?

Proper food might hasten / accelerate the healing of wounds.

Proper food might heal wounds more quickly. (The best word for it I think?)

How could I hasten / accelerate the drying process?

How could I dry it quakily? (The best word for it, I think?)

It made not different. (Adjective)

They made no differences. (Noun) (Is this grammatical?)

Cheers

You'll get quicker answers if you ask only one question per thread with a title unique to each – such as 'proper food'. I'll answer #1 and #2 (if you had helpfully numbered them). They are both grammatically correct, but semantically questionable (I don't believe they are factually true.
