Hi there,
Could you please advise us...
1) He died or killed in an accident a few years ago. (Active voice)
2) He was died or killed in an accident a few years ago. (Passive voice, which make more sense to us as he couldn't die or kill by himself. He has to be done by someone or something form outside forces, are we correct in this concept? This is a pattern of Japanese language, could this idea and pattern also apply to English?
We always wonder how do you guys define "Passive voice and adjective" in many words, are they important to know and classify them? Maybe not? after all, they are all grammatical anyway.
Examples,
A car was parked in / he was killed at / I was told / a table is tilted to / I am biased to / I am qualified to / I am worried about / can you get it done / get it surveyed / I am pleased to / I am considered to / passengers are conveyed to / I am interested in.
Huge thanks in advance
