Grammar help please?

Hi there,

Could you please check for me if I have made any mistakes in these sentences?


I refused / rejected / decline to... (From strongest to weakest?)

I bowed / stooped my head down to walk through the door or tunnel. (Both words are ok here?)

I bowed / stooped my head down in shame. (Both words are ok here?)

I bowed / stooped you thanks. (Both words are ok here?)

The heat / wind / pain will weaken / lessen /deaden eventually. (Three words are ok here?)

I left the tea steeped in the boiling water for 10 minutes(Verb)

I left the tea in steep in the boiling water for 10 minutes. (Noun)

Last two please

I am going to leave the tea steeped in the boiling water. (Verb)

I am going to leave the tea in steep in the boiling water. (Noun)

I refused / rejected / declined to... (From strongest to weakest?) 'reject' can't be followed by an infinitive. Use a noun instead.
