Grammar help please?

Hi there,

Could you please check for me if I have made any mistakes in these sentences?


It is getting aged.

It is getting of age.

My cardinal rules is... (Basic or important, which one is close to the meaning?)

He flattered / was flattering me about my skill. (Praised me)

I was flattered by him, therefore I lent him my bike.

That dress / phone really flatters me, in fact I am much fatter. (praise me)

John Aki It is getting aged. Possible, but not common. Normally we'd just use 'old' rather than 'aged' unless we mean it is starting to have an appearance of being worn or mature.
