Grammar help please?

Hi there,

Could you advise me if I am using this word "revise" correctly, please?


I revised my opinion or impression of him.

I revised my idea or proposal about the plan.

Could I also say,

I revised the size to make it fit better. (Shorter or longer)

I revised the machine or the part to make it runs better.
