My family Dr. Trump give a referral to see a specialist. (Wrote me a paper or call)

I am a referral from Dr. Trump who is my family Dr. (I am a patient)

Mr. Trump (my ex-boss) is my referee / reference for this job. (Which word is more common? I wonder?)

This is my "reference letter" from Mr. Trump who is my referee / reference.

Mr. Donald Trump is my family doctor and his part time job happens to be a president of the united states…can you believe that???
