HI,
Can you check for me if second sentences grammatical and sounds natural to you, please?
He scare me; I am sacred by him. (Grammatical)
He fear me; I am feared by him. (Is this grammatical?)
Thanks
John Aki He scare s me; I am s ca red by him. (Grammatical) The ordinary passive is grammatical, but more common in typical contexts, when referring to a persistent state, is "I am scared of him". The ordinary passive could be used of a single event.
