Grammar help please?

Hi there,

Can you tell me if these sentences are grammatical, please?


There are many chaps/cracks on the old paint. (surface of the paint)

You confused my files. (messed up my files)

My room is confusing. (room is messed up)

Your room is chaos/chaotic.

My house is in a state of confusion/chaos. (house is messed up)

My toolbox was confusing, I couldn't find the tool that I needed.
