Grammar help please

Can you correct my sentences please?

We say "A string of questions/accidents/good luck/experiences/disasters/victories."

How about "A string of good days/sunshine/rains." is this grammatical ?

Thanks in advances.

After "a string of" you need the plural of a countable noun. 'good luck', however, is an exception, so that one is OK. But you can't use 'sunshine'.
