Grammar help please

Hi There,

Can you tell me which one is natural and correct English, please?

“My room is moist/humid/wet in the raining day.

Also what are the differences between these words, please?

I really can't find the differences in my dictionary.

Many Thanks

"humid" refers only to water vapour in the air. It seems odd to say that a room is "moist". A word with similar meaning that collocates better with "room" is "damp".

  • To say that your room is "wet" seems to imply that there is liquid water on the surfaces of the walls and floors.
  • "in the raining day" is wrong.

"in the raining day" is wrong. You could mean "in the rainy season" or "when it rains".
