Grammar help pelase?

Hi,

Could you kindly advise which word is correct in these two sentences?


Generally he is innocent until proved / proven guilty.

It is proved /proven that it works.

Generally speaking he is innocent until proved / proven guilty.

Use "proven" as the only form of the adjective, and "proved" always as the participle, and you won't go far wrong. An exception, maybe the only exception, is the phrase "(to be) innocent until proven guilty".
