Grammar !! HELP

"I hate being cooped up inside working when it is sunny outside"

and

"Spending a brief amount of time immersed in nature can help your mental heath"

I don't get the structure of this sentence. Could you guys help me pls? I mean the "working" and "Immersed" here how can I put this in a sentence? Is that related to "relative clause"
