Is the sentence natural?

The first 10 minutes after you take the cast off your arm, it feels weird.

I hate knowing that I spent 2 days of my time just to have 3 minutes of satisfaction, satisfaction of knowing I could do as well as you.

Hi I would say the first is definitely fine The second is OK but I might want to resolve the repeat use of "satisfaction" and "knowing".. If you want to keep the repetition then perhaps a colon could be used. I think this makes the repetion acceptable..
