Grammar feedback

Hi! I am looking to improve my writing. I know I am making mistakes, but, I am not sure what they are and what I should be doing to correct them.

Could I possibly ask for some feedback on the following paragraph?

"Spatial perception of sound is an invaluable tool used by the brain to understand its surrounding environment. In certain cases it is the most important of the senses. The eyes only provide a small window into what surrounds us, if a predator approaches from behind the brain relies on cues from the inner and external parts of the ears to infer it’s location."

I'm unsure about the correct way to order clauses and link between points.
