Can a teacher help me with correction of grammar and structure?

I see no grammar problems.

Is "this part of time" a slip of the tongue?

"The police's job" is not euphonious. A native speaker would more likely say "The job of the police is to etc."

If this last sentence is stating a general principle rather than referring to a particular case, it would be more natural to make both parties either singular or plural, eg, "the as
