Grammar correction please

Mr. Raja has called me. He told me to drop the project we have been working with, as he feels we are not capable of doing the business with him. I requested him to give me time till Wednesday. He accepted it and if we fail to respond on or before Wednesday, this project will be dropped.

I do not want to lose this project as I have put in my best efforts.
