Grammar correction and expression of my view

Hi all,

I have to express my feeling for forming a Science Club. Below is the paragraph, please review it.

The Science Club Philosophy.
I realize that studying Science is fun after completing my degree. During those school and college days, I never got an opportunity to understand the practical and scientific principle use in day to day life even though we have studied almost all the scientific principle. I wish, I could. Believe me or not, I haven't make a simple motor or generator or examine practically the physical structure of motor/generator during my Engineering course. After my first daughter was admitted in class I, I started doing basic science practicals. My daughter ask lot of question regarding my practical and I have to make her understand. The most challenging part for doing science practical is not to understand the principle, getting the right practical kits is very difficult and unfortunately there is no well organise market. Moreover most of the parents does not have time to do all this things. I doubt how many of the students are lucky enough to have a parents at least who can help them in their studies. Keeping above view, I have decided to start a Science Club.
