Grammar correction

Are these grammatically correct?


1. A young man has to deal with an ugly truth confronted by his mentally disturbed daughter which can cause a major problem for the family.

2. Yasar gains an inheritance from his father which causes a rift between him and his stepmother. At the same time, he has to deal with his sister-in-law who has fallen in love with him and to make things worse, his mentally disturbed daughter brings up an ugly truth which could cause a major problem for their family.

what do you mean by "mentally disturbed"? Disturbed has a very negative connotation. If you want to say that someone has severe mental problems, use "mentally ill".
