Please let me know if anything is wrong in the above intro line I have written about myself. I have put most of the this in caps except "and" "a". Is it correct ?

Then, yes, Vasant, that is fine. Delete the period at the end, since it is not a sentence, and be sure to use an m-dash (not a hyphen) after your name.
