grammar correction

I have a question that I would like to ask.

Is that right:?

1., You are a lucky person or

2. The two students, they have or had to be very happy to have lesson with you or by you?

Or
3.the two lucky students had the opportunity to have lesson/ lessons with you

What sentence starting "If you are ... " are you thinking of?

"When you do a competition another time / next time, it would be great" is possible I suppose if "it" refers to something previous
