Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) is an approach to the

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interaction as both the means and the ultimate goal of learning a
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language. It is also referred to as “communicative approach to the teaching of foreign languages” or simply the “Communicative Approach”. And also Communicative language teaching (CLT) makes use language more easily in real-life. So , teacher sets up a situation that students are likely to meet in real life at the classroom. CLT is different with audiolingualism, because audiolingual method needs students to doing repetition and drills. On the other hand, the communicative language teaching (CLT) can leave students like out of the classroom, so it can makes student's reactions and responses. For this reason, students can learn to communicate with people naturally.
