You need bringing your own clothes. (Bring is a verb here)

I need your help. (Help acts a noun here)

I need help. (Help acts a noun here)

I need helping from you. (Help acts a verb here)

You need to ask it.

You need asking for it. (Asing is a verb here)

All you need is asked.
