More formally, ensure that you bring this with you. (not as good in my opinion)

can be considered a shortened form of when it is exposed, so yes, you can think of 'is exposed' as a passive construction.

These two sentences (as shown) are the kind of sentences that might appear on a tag on a piece of clothing.

For a more typical sentence that might be said in conversation:

The color faded when I accidentally left my shirt in the sun.

I would not use 'fortify' in those sentences.

'fortify' means 'make stronger'. The only typical use of 'fortify' when talking about food is to say that a processed food is "fortified with vitamins" or similar statements.

I found this online:

Sometimes foods are fortified with nutrients, such as orange juice with calcium.

So if the company that sells that orange juice adds nutrients like vitamins and minerals, they say that the orange juice is fortified.
