Grammar check please?

Hi,

Could you please check for me If I understand these words correctly?

I dressed like this only in this occasion. (This moment, location, such as a wedding or a ceremony)

I visit LA on occasion. (Means sometimes)

Luckily no one was hurt / harmed in the accident. (Both are correct, however "hurt" is the more common)

It won't hurt / harm you to do it. (Both are correct and common)

It hurt / harmed my foot. ("Hurt" is more common in use)

It was a real hurt / pain / harm to me. (They are all correct, "hurt and pain" are the more common) (Nouns)

It is painful / hurtful / harmful . (Painful is the more common in use) (Adjectives)

A painful / hurtful / harmful experience. (Painful is the more common in use)

According to the severity or the grade, I think "ache, pain, hurt and harm" from the worse to weakest?

Thanks in advance.
