Hi there,Could you please check for me if I have used this word properly? if not what are the better words for them?How can I hasten bananas to ripen, I wonder?Meats will hasten going bad in the summer without refrigerating it.Good weather hasten grass to grow.Proteins might hasten muscles to grow.I hastened to school this morning.I always hasten to get things done.Cheers

You can't hasten anything to infinitive. You hasten a noun. How can I hasten the ripening of bananas? (Put them in a bag with a slice of apple.) Some uses of "hasten" sound old-fashioned, but this is not bad.
