Hi,

Could you please clarify me that my sentences are grammatically correct and right word for these sentences, please?


A stone shaved / glanced me by an inch. (means didn’t hit me)

A stone shaved / glanced me but only a surface wound.

A model airplane shaved / glanced the top of the tree. (means hit, but only surface)
