Grammar check please?

Hi,

I found out, essentially there are no much different in the word “conserve” and “reserve”. Can you correct me if I am wrong, please? means both words are ok for these sentences?


I tuned the light off to conserve/reserve the power.

I need to conserve/reserve more food for tomorrow.

I need to conserve/reserve some energy for my final exam.

I have a large conserve/reserve of water in my home.
