Grammar check please?

Hi there,

Can you tell me if I use these two words properly, please?

My back pack was so full but I manage to squash/crush more cloths in it.

I squashed/crushed cloths on my bag as much as possible.

Thanks.

The second is not good at all. Forget it. In the first, use 'squashed' and write 'clothes' instead of 'cloths'.

No.

Write: I squeezed as many clothes as possible in my bag.
