Grammar check

ex1) I think it bad to eat much food at night (OK)

ex2) I think to eat much food at night bad (???)

ex1 is grammatical correct, but I'm not sure if ex2 is incorrect or not

If ex2 is incorrect grammatically, I want to know why.

g. "a lot of food". Other than this, (1) is formally correct, but may seem stilted in everyday English (at least in BrE).

More usually we would say e.g. "a lot of food". Other than this, (1) is formally correct, but may seem stilted in everyday English (at least in BrE). In everyday BrE people would say e.g. "I think it's bad to eat a lot food at night".

(2) is technically possible, but may seem strained. Even more so than (1), it would not be used in ordinary everyday English.
