Are there any grammatical errors?
Solid wastes that are being disposed by humans greatly affect the environment we live on. So we decided to conduct a research regarding the awareness of grade 12 STEM students in terms of managing solid wastes properly. By doing this, we will be able to determine whether they are aware or not, as this will somehow help them become aware in terms of managimg solid wastes properly.

It seems to me that 'solid waste' (not 'wastes') is what you want.

However, your paragraph is somewhat lacking in coherence. You start with a general statement about the negative effects of solid waste, but the research you describe is about awareness of solid waste management. The negative effects could be used motivate a discussion of waste management, but you don't make the connection explicit.

There is also a disconnect between finding out if the students are aware of the proper management of solid waste and the idea that students may become aware of it. In fact, you seem to admit this disconnect with the word "somehow". Somehow, but you don't know how or you don't say how, the students will become aware of proper management of solid waste just by being the subjects of research to determine whether they are already aware of it. I don't see how the reader is going to make the connection without further explanation.
