I am trying to determine if this sentence is gramatically correct:
After attending several webinars on Web 2.0, I am familiar with this new technology and interested in how libraries can use social networking applications, such as Facebook, to advertise library events and new books to an increasingly technically oriented population.

I am trying to determine if this sentence is gramatically correct: Seems acceptable to me, although the word 'webinar' is new to me. I'd add a hyphen after 'technically'.
You might consider breaking it into two parts.
