I want to thank one of my friend who sent me some documents..please check the below and correct if it has any grammatical mistake

I think you have the tense wrong if you already have the documents. "Would be" is a future tense. "The documents are useful in my new assignement...

I think you have the tense wrong if you already have the documents.

"Would be" is a future tense.
