Grammar changes in English

I would like to read about contemporary developments in English grammar--like the declining use of the subjunctive mood, the confusion between "that" and "which," etc. However, looking online is tough, because I get so many results that are really just pages and blogs about grammar rules. Does anyone know of studies or sites that discuss this issue in detail?

Although I no longer subscribe to it, there is a magazine online and in print that may interest you. It is called English Today . If you go to its website, you will find a table of contents showing the topics that its current issue covers.

Thanks, but they do charge for the articles. At this point I'd prefer to avoid that.
