Grammar book suggestions

Can anyone suggest a good basic English grammar book for native speakers who need a systematic refresher course?

I'm also looking for this. A while ago someone (Mr. Micawber?) suggested this book: Introduction to the Grammar of English, by Rodney Huddleston. While it certainly looks interesting, it consists of almost 500 pages; I doubt I can find the time to read that. Perhaps there is a more concise and less in-depth book available?
