Grammar and wording

Context:
I own three different sized 'For Sale' signs. On each sign the font size is different.

I am requesting 1 more of each sign to be created, so I send the sign creators the signs I have.

Part of the conversation I would like you to check the grammar of:

Please make the font size on each sign the same as the/each corresponding sign.

Is this correct, and should I use each or the?

Thanks

Please make the font size on each sign is the same as on its corresponding original s ign. I threw in 'original' to help clarify.

Hi MM,

I think you may have made an error in your sentence. Could you re-write it, and then I'll take a look. Thanks

Oh, yes: remove 'is'. I was thinking yours read 'make sure'.

Interesting you chose 'its.' Can we use 'the' or 'each' too?

Is it not unnecessary to use 'its' as the word corresponding already shows the possessive?

Its is much better and clearer because the possessive pronoun ties "original sign" back to its antecedent (each new sign.)
