[grammar and vocab] one short paragraph

Dear Users,

May I ask you to have a look at the following opening paragraph of a teaching statement? In my humble opinion, it's quite well written, but I'd like to hear your opinion.

-----In my teaching career I’ve encountered a myriad of challenges and explored a variety of approaches to/of? facilitating the process of acquiring knowledge. Being an educator intrinsically implies embarking on the never-ending journey of lifelong learning and although I firmly believe that there is no such thing as a fully completed/complete and finished teaching philosophy, the following paragraphs will explore in a concise way my approach to education.-----

Thank you
