Hi gyus.

The internet influences the way people communicate

I am wondering if it oculd be paraphrased into:
'The has influence on the way people communicate'

And we don't need an article after 'has' right?

Thanks

'The internet has influence on the way people communicate.'

You could indeed (though it is not as direct), Mav, and no article before 'influence'.

This time I think I may legitimately quote some lines:

'Full fathom five thy father lies,

But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.'

From The Tempest: Ariel is describing the changes to the body of Ferdinand'
