Grammar and Punctuation Related Question
This is a discussion to determine whether or not to buy a tablet?
Q. Depends on how serious you are about reading?
A. Very! Reading books is one of the main reasons. I can do the same on a laptop as well, so what are the other advantages of buying a tablet --- except for ease of carrying it? And, then what are the differences between iPad and Kindle?
My questions:
1. Is the use of "the" correct before "other advantages"?
2. Should '?' come before '---' and the sentence should end with a full stop.
