Grammar and punctuation need help

hello

i was just reading an article on drug abuse and i came across this sentence can someone correct it for me

1 If you snort it you don't have to take as much as if you smoke it and the affects are a lot strong and last longer when you do

or would you say

1 you don't have to take as much if you snort it as if you smoke it and the affects are a lot strong and last longer when you do

and if someone could also correct the following it be great and tell me about the punctuation and grammar

1 I don't remember what i last wrote was/what it was i last wrote
2 When there is a mosquito in the room make sure not to expose any bare skin so as not to allow it to bite you/don't leave any body part visible for it to bite
3 For most of the time/for the majority of the time, he was coope up in his room
4 He won't make it for the birth of his child/make it in time for the birth of his child
5 The bed sheet wasn't laid out properly, so we turned it rightside up so as to be able to cover our feet with it
6 His acting isn't so good as to be able to pull of a role the likes of this one
