I think it's OK, but if you feel it's a bit of an attributive noun-fest you could say: "(the) Dental Assisting Program at Lane Community College" "Lane Community College's Dental Assisting Program"

By "dental assisting" do you mean a "dental hygienist"? If so, perhaps a better description is "dental assistant program" or "dental hygienist program"

I wondered about this too, but there are masses of Google hits for "Dental Assisting Program" so I assume it's a standard term.
