Grammar advise please?

Hi there,

Do you think or agree "prolong" has a negative feeling? whereas "sustain" is more positive feeling on it?

Example,

I don't want to prolong Chinese course anymore, it sucks beside China is always offensive to us.

I would like to sustain my English study, as it is more popular all over the world.

Or doesn't really matter as they are interchangeable words to these two sentences?

Cheers.

Prolong is not really negative. Prolonged means extended. Sustained means continued in a steady manner.
