Grammar advice please?

Hi there,

Could you please comment on these sentences for me?


It is [ a sharp / an acute / a severe ] pain. (Which one seems worse to you? I guess "sharp, acute and severe?)

I guess I am too overboard with English. (Is this phrase making sense to you in the conversation?)

I have alternative solutions for this this issue. (Options)

I have alternate solutions for this issue. (A and B)

I do that on alternate days.
