Grammar advice please?

Hi there,

Could you please tell me the differences.

1) It broke. (Does it imply to you it was worn out naturally?)

2) It was broken. (Does it imply to you it was done by someone or animals, doesn’t matter international or unintentional?)

Or these two sentences are not different at all, just different phrases pick one as you prefer to use in your life?
